Admissions is not simply the completion of a form, but a process of understanding the student's foundation, artistic character, learning context, and long-term direction—and whether AUREVIA is genuinely the right fit.

What matters is not where a student begins, but their readiness to go further.
AUREVIA primarily serves young musicians with an established foundation who wish to continue through serious, systematic development. Students may come from general schools, arts schools, private studios, or music institutions.
We do not judge readiness by one educational background. We consider genuine musical interest, commitment to learning, potential for development, and the family's understanding of the time and responsibility long-term artistic education requires.

The initial conversation
Before offering advice, we first need to understand the student.
The initial conversation considers musical background, current study, repertoire, practice habits, performance experience, institutional goals, and family planning.
A recent performance video may be shared when useful. Professional production is not required; an honest representation of the student's present level is more valuable.

Professional assessment
Assessment is not an examination. It is a way to identify the next direction.
Professional assessment does not reduce a student to pass or fail. It considers technique, musicianship, repertoire, learning methods, and performance readiness.
A student may be suited to the long-term Polaris program, or may first need focused training, repertoire adjustment, or foundational work. When AUREVIA is not the right fit at the present stage, we will say so clearly.
After the initial conversation
Every formal arrangement should begin with clarity.
When the educational approach and student's needs appear aligned, AUREVIA will review relevant materials and arrange an appropriate assessment. We then explain the recommended direction, mentor or educational resources, likely duration, program structure, and fees.
AUREVIA provides educational judgment, resource matching, and long-term development support, but does not guarantee admission to a particular institution, scholarship outcomes, competition results, or a relationship with a specified professor.
Polaris Program
Polaris is not designed for every applicant.
Polaris is an approximately 24-month artist development program for high-school-age musicians with clear international education goals. It is not designed for those seeking only written materials, a recording, or short-term application presentation.

Are competition awards required?＋
No. Competition experience may provide useful context, but it is not the sole measure of potential or readiness.
Is a professionally recorded video required?＋
Not for an initial conversation. If a further assessment is appropriate, an honest recent recording is more useful than a heavily produced one.
Can AUREVIA provide application-only services?＋
AUREVIA's admissions planning is grounded in professional development. It may not be the right fit for needs limited to written materials, submission, or short-term presentation.
Can a family request a specific mentor?＋
Preferences may be discussed, while final recommendations consider foundation, learning style, artistic character, and educational fit.
How are program fees determined?＋
The appropriate duration, mentor resources, and program structure vary by student. A clear proposal and fee information are provided after the initial conversation and any necessary assessment.
